The Etang du Thau is the largest of a string of lagoons that stretch along the French coast, which are famous for
their oyster beds. Here you can sit on the waters edge, eat oysters that are grown right in front of you and drink ‘Picpoul de Pinet’ wine that is made from the vines surrounding you in the village of Pinet.
We love Saint Barths, as well as the fresh delicious oysters, here you can also have steamed mussels, prawns and other seafood.
This is near Marseillan beach and port where there are regular markets and near the huge Sunday car boot sale.
